Safe Work Procedures are to be developed after undertaken an assessment of the risks associated with the work activities. The assessment process needs to focus on identifying the potential hazards of all the work activities, assess the foreseeable risks involved and developing practical control measures to eliminate, or minimize, the risks as far as reasonably practicable. The establishment of the risk management process needs to be carried out in consultation with employees and stakeholders who would be involved with the work activity.
